Former Essex CC leader, Lord Hanningfield, has been found guilty on six counts of false accounting.
The Conservative peer was tried at Chelmsford Crown Court under his name Paul White for recouping money for journeys and overnight stays in London when he had, in fact, travelled 50 miles to his West Hanningfield home.
