Public sector workers remain positive about their careers, despite the economic downturn. The quarterly Badenoch and Clark Employment Study found 69% of public sector employees did not think the credit crunch had affected their career plans. But 36% of staff did see their organisation in a more negative light since they started working for them. Badenoch and Clark executive director, Nicola Linkleter, said: ‘That the majority of workers are sticking to their career plans and remain committed to their career path makes encouraging findings for the public sector in a time of much doom and gloom.'
