Scores of business representatives attended a breakfast briefing organised by Haringey LBC at London's Alexandra Palace this week to discuss green business opportunities.
The council estimates over the next three years in north London at least £77.5m could be invested in energy efficient retrofitting by private households, landlords and social housing providers. Cllr Alan Strickland said there are many green business opportunities to explore and the council was 'keen to bring some of that work to Haringey businesses and traders'.
