WORKFORCE

Head of Analysis, Research & Communications

In a sector which is experiencing significant and sustained transformation, knowledge and analysis is crucial. And as a complex and high-performing organisation, West Yorkshire Probation Trust relies on capturing and making the most of business-critical information.

This role is at the heart of understanding what we do, suggesting ways in which we can improve, and helping us to stay ahead of the curve in an increasingly challenging environment. You'll work to the Director of Business Development, bringing both technical expertise and the ability to apply your team's insights to strategic planning, and to driving performance improvements. We want you to continually question our information systems and processes, as well as originating and driving new research which supports our overarching objectives.

This visible, senior role will need resilience and independence of mind, but you must also appreciate the role of your team in supporting everything we do – from the front-line to the Board. Good management skills are at least as important as a strong track record and an enquiring intelligence, and you'll relish the opportunity of working in a values-led organisation, with a strong social commitment.

Closing date: noon, 23 July.
