Head of Development Management and Regeneration

As Head of Development Management and Regeneration you will lead on city-building and place-making for the city council. You will deliver a comprehensive development management, building control, urban design and regeneration service to support this very high profile agenda.

We are looking for candidates who will bring significant urban planning and regeneration experience and those who can skilfully negotiate complex planning applications,combined with experience of urban planning, regeneration and placemaking. You will also need strong leadership qualities, gained from previous management experience, and should be innovative but realistic in finding solutions for difficult sites and development issues.
