EMSS is a ground-breaking Unitary / Countypartnership between Nottingham City Council and Leicestershire County Council which provides HR, Finance and Payroll services. We are now looking to the future and haveexciting plans for expansion; indeed, we are keen to offer our services to other Councilsand the wider public sector. We are seeking a commercially minded and customer focused person to lead the organisation, working closely with politicians and senior colleagues from both Councils to develop and implement our ambitious plans.

Candidates will need to be inspiring leaders, withproven operational skills, experience of running a shared services operation, superb partnership skills, and the ability to work strategically with a variety of stakeholders. Knowledge of the public sector is an advantage but not essential.
