Christchurch Borough Council and East Dorset District Council are one year in to a partnership agreement that seals the commitment the two authorities have made to share services. The Partnership has made excellent progress and our aim is to maintain our momentum.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Corporate Team who has good knowledge and experience of managing multi disciplinary teams, has strong leadership and effective interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to change to enable continuous improvement.

With responsibilities for functions such as strategic and operational finance (including S151 responsibilities), audit, ICT, and a revenues and benefits partnership comprising of three councils, you will play a leading role in formulating and delivering the Partnership's response to the emerging financial landscape for Local Government. A key feature of the role will be the ability to produce imaginative solutions to the financing of priorities in line with the Partnership's aims demonstrating both vision and commercial awareness.
