Head of Housing Services - Basildon Council

£81,891 - £89,597 (including fringe and excluding car allowance), plus performance related pay

This pivotal role will be responsible for services which touch many of our residents and are at the forefront of delivering our Five Promises.

You will require effective management skills and the ability to direct a number of business areas, including Housing Choice, Housing Landlord Services, Housing Property Services and Community Services.

Excellent customer service, backed by intelligent investment in our estates and stock will be crucial elements of this role. So too will expansion of our stock through new build, and creating employment opportunities for local people.

We're looking for someone who is experienced and grounded, and with the flair and imagination to find new ways of doing things.
