Competition between leading public sector recruitment head-hunters stepped up last week, when the managing director of Veredus was poached by a rival. Mark Turner, MD of Veredus, confirmed he was moving to competitor, GatenbySanderson, to head a new team focusing on business from central government and executive agencies. GatenbySanderson's managing partner Graham Goodwin, himself a former Veredus executive, said Mr Turner was ‘top of our list to drive the business'.
