Three Heads of Service within the Council have been promoted to Director
level positions and the Council is looking to fill these positions – two within
the Education, Culture and Sport Directorate, and the third within the Social
Care and Wellbeing Directorate - we are looking for ambitious, creative and
passionate people to join us to take on the challenge of the following roles:

SOCIAL CARE & WELLBEING DIRECTORATE

Commissioning - £77,937
You will be responsible for planning and developing provision of the full range of high quality social work services to adults, ensuring that the Council’s statutory responsibilities in this regard are properly discharged. This will include managing the Council’s response to the Scottish Government’s policy on integration of health and social care, together with the production of a Joint Commissioning Strategy for all Adult groups (in collaboration with the NHS). A relevant Social Work qualification is essential as well as current registration with the Scottish Social Services Council or equivalent.
