The role You will take responsibility for transforming high profile services including street cleansing, recycling and waste , open spaces, foreshores, play, public toilets, environmental enforcement and CCTV. Your goal will be the delivery of high quality cost effective services that ensure the satisfaction of residents, visitors, businesses and members alike. We want you to develop a new approach to the delivery of integrated frontline public services, achieving a step change in public behaviours through enforcement and education. This will involve strengthening our role in joint service work across east Kent, and through the Kent Resource Partnership – with a focus on exploring different models and improving value for money. Requirements You will bring substantial management experience in a senior capacity including a proven record of leading significant transformation projects within frontline public services. Your expertise will include people and budget management, customer/stakeholder relations and the development and implementation of operational models. It's essential that you have experience of work scheduling and a waste management qualification. Ideally, you will have membership of a professional waste management institution.
