For the right person, the opportunities to make a meaningful and lasting difference in Reading are huge. How we deliver our services in a sustainable way is one challenge, but with our significant track record of working in partnership to bring about regeneration, the potential for growth is high. We shall be expecting to maximise our asset base to ensure we continue to attract long-lasting high quality investment in our borough.

Reporting to the new Director of Environment and Neighbourhood Services, and working closely with elected councillors, customers, partners and stakeholders, you will lead a dedicated and talented workforce to deliver a range of high quality services effectively and efficiently to ensure that Reading remains a location of choice for those who live, work, visit or run a business.
