Diary was delighted to learn from Gloucester City Council's industrious press team that the UK tour of the reconstructed head of King Richard III has been extended to take in the city he upgraded from town status after seizing power in 1483.
That's what we call a City Deal, medieval-style. But Diary thinks it can't be all fun on the road for the reconstructed face of England's most villainous monarch. Alright, you get to leave Leicester for the first time since your ignominious defeat at the battle of Bosworth Field in 1485. Cause for celebration enough.
