This role offers a diverse brief and you can expect to be playing a lead role in a range of areas including policy; business analysis; workforce development; and ensuring effective service engagement with our customers, with elected members and general public enquiries. You'll encourage better use of customer feedback in shaping services and ensure that we embed continuous improvement across all provision. Workforce development will be key in aligning our resources and capacity to new models of working and you'll help us shape a modern, flexible workforce that can deliver via improved frontline practice. And you'll promote better use of performance data and evidence to drive change and identify opportunities for improvement. Working across three authorities demands a breadth of perspective and an agile and adaptable approach, but you will be part of a very effective and collegiate team. It's important you can create the right networks across the three authorities and that you have the resilience and perseverance to maintain the momentum of change on such a large canvas. You'll understand the political dynamics of such a role and your in depth understanding of the current and emerging children's services agenda will be vital in establishing credibility and effecting change at both an operational and strategic level.
