Heads of Service Planning & Place Services to Communities Technical & Property Service Based in Forfar Salary: £84,045.

People, Communities and Resources are the three areas around which we are creating a new framework for our business.

Our strategic leadership team is guiding the council on this journey; challenging our practices, developing our potential and nurturing our people.

We are now looking for three heads of service to support the leadership team, ensuring the delivery of highly cost effective services within our Communities Directorate.

This new directorate brings together the services that we deliver to neighbourhoods, businesses and residents.

The three heads of service will lead the development, management and provision of our housing, planning, roads, leisure and culture, community planning and environmental services. The management of the council's properties and estates is also within this portfolio.

You will be a leader that is passionate about the delivery of quality, cost effective public services. You will be able to anticipate, adapt and respond to local and national priorities. You will be a strategic and creative thinker, an excellent communicator, and an inclusive decision maker who can inspire others.
