Herefordshire's pioneering new health and local government partnership has launched a search to find a deputy chief executive. Herefordshire Public Services, the partnership between the council and the local PCT is seeking a deputy chief for its joint management team as well as an assistant chief executive, HR, to provide an integrated HR function. The council employs 6,642 and 1,600 in the PCT. l Ex-Bristol City Council Nick Gurney has been appointed chairman of the North Bristol NHS Trust.
