Government plans to reform the public voice in health are ‘unworkable', according to the patient's watchdog, the Commission for Patient and Public Involvement in Health. Commission chair, Sharon Grant, said plans to abolish patient and public involvement forums were a mistake, and the proposed local involvement networks would not work.
