Buckinghamshire CC will not financially support a school facing £500,000 legal fees, after refusing to allow a Muslim pupil to wear a full face veil. The girl had not been excluded but asked not to come to school wearing the niqab. Her father called for a judicial review. A council spokesperson said the council faced budget cut pressures.
