Tens of thousands of pounds could be saved by reducing the number of executive staff at Suffolk CC, a report has proposed. 

Following the announcement that chief executive Nicola Beach was to stand down at the end of next month after eight years, officers have recommended councillors appoint two existing executive directors into new joint chief executive roles. This would reduce the number of senior staff by one, saving up to £92,000 a year.
