Hillingdon Council has transformed its Children & Young People's directorate, redesigning services in a way that makes sense to children and their families and placing the service user at the centre of decision making.

We are now recruiting two Chief Officer roles to secure our transformati on and lead our services to achieve outstanding results for the Borough's children and families. Both roles are based in Uxbridge and report to the Director of Children & Young People's Services.

HEAD OF CHILDREN'S SERVICES £76,970 – £92,364 per annum

You will lead our front line social work,our looked aft er children and child protection services as well as the permanency service and three residential children's homes, as well as taking responsibility for the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH). You will work corporately with Members, Partners and colleagues, to develop and deliver outstanding services for the borough's most vulnerable children and families.

HEAD OF SAFEGUARDING,

QUALITY ASSURANCE & PRACTICE DEVELOPMENT

£66,930 – £80,316 per annum

You will take lead responsibility for audit, standards,quality of practice, policy issues and inspecti on as well as taking responsibility for the Hillingdon Safeguarding Children Board.

You'll also develop and lead our workforce development strategy and lead on domestic violence and human traffi cking and take on the role of LADO
