Southampton City Council looks set to handover the running of the city’s art gallery and two museums to private firms.

Southampton City Council looks set to handover the running of the city's art gallery and two museums to private firms.

A council spokesman said the local authority had received bids from ‘a number' of potential operators to take over the City Art Gallery, Tudor House Museum and Sea City Museum.
