Senior Revenue and Customs (HMRC) civil servants have claimed they need more investment in their service as cuts across the department have affected their ability to collect tax money.

The Association of Revenue and Customs (ARC), which represents high-grade staff, issued its warning before the House of Commons Treasury sub-committee on 24 October.
