The OCS Group has bought parts of the local authority environment and horticulture contractor, Fountains, after it went into administration.
Administrator, BDO, said 1,570 Fountains staff would transfer to the OCS Group as part of the sale of assets and contracts, although it has also had to make 446 workers redundant.
