Hounslow LBC has risen to the challenge of meeting higher public expectations of sophisticated online services with its council website. The website enhancements, in line with e-government targets, saw the number of visits through the site in January alone increase by at least 30%. Out of 460 local government websites tested and ranked, Hounslow's regularly figures among the top 20.
