Hillingdon LBC has become the first local authority in the country to transfer its housing stock back in-house from an arm's-length management organisation.
‘Hillingdon Homes has done a good job of managing the council's tenancies, but we had to look at how we continue to provide good-quality, efficient services for residents,' said the Tory council's cabinet member for housing, Cllr Philip Corthorne.
