London's major housing projects are set to feature in a keynote conference attended by leading regeneration experts. The annual Future of London event, taking place in October, features contributions from the Major Projects Delivery Group, whose 11-member London boroughs cover 20 of the largest housing schemes in the capital, representing 110,000 new homes and a spend of £30bn. Speakers include CLG minister, Baroness Andrews; Sir Robert Kerslake, chief executive of the new homes and communities agency; John Callcutt, author of the Callcutt review on housebuilding delivery; Sir Peter Hall, town planning expert; and Cllr Jamie Carswell, chair of the London Councils housing group. The FoL event, whose media partner is The MJ, takes place on 21 October at Church House, Westminster, with five rooms of conferences, exhibition and networking space.
