Hull City Council has announced it will use an e-auction to get the best deal for its 300300 call centre contract. The call centre has been operating for the past seven years, and the current contract is now coming to an end. ‘Call centre technology is moving forward at a fast pace and this is a chance to tap into the latest developments,' said head of citizen engagement, Andy Brown. ‘By piloting the e-auction process, we hope to get the right service at the right price.'
