Hull City Council has announced that its chief executive, Nicola Yates, has left her post. Ms Yates was appointed as chief executive in November 2009. No reason was provided for her departure.
In a statement, she said: ‘My role as chief executive of Hull City Council has been enjoyable and challenging, and I wish the council, its staff and the city the very best in the years ahead.'
