Local authorities have recovered a further £25m from failed Icelandic bank, Landsbanki, which collapsed in October 2008.

Local authorities have recovered a further £25m from failed Icelandic bank, Landsbanki, which collapsed in October 2008 holding £416m of council funds.

Around half of this cash has now been retrieved, and the LGA said more was expected in coming months.
