The chairman of the largest local enterprise partnership (LEP) in the country has offered the Government help to develop a new funding model.

John Spence, the chairman of the South East LEP, has written to chancellor George Osborne, offer his organisation's expertise to develop the five-year single pot funding model, which was recommended last year by Lord Heseltine in his No Stone Unturned report.
