At dinner last night with Sir Michael Wilshaw, the new HMI at OFSTED, at the Guardian Public Sector Summit.Aside from being a thoughtful professional Head from an inner city school, he is clearly no-ones fool.A very sound appointment to replace the previous Chief Inspector, Christine Gilbert, the wife of a former Labour Minister.
