Haringey LBC's new chief executive has ordered an independent review into the multimillion-pound mistakes in the council's accounts – which were controversially signed-off at the 11th hour last year.
Nick Walkley, who joined from neighbouring Barnet LBC last October, has instigated a review into the circumstances surrounding the filing of Haringey's accounts on 28 September last year– the final working day before the legal deadline.
