Not that I am remotely biased of course - but I have been up with Improvement East, the Regional Improvement & Efficiency body for the East, today in Bury St Edmunds reviewing what we will do in the future.We are in Year 4 of the RIEP's & central funding has ceased, however there is a veritable hotbed of innovation going on around the region & I know that the experience established over the past 3 years will stand us in good stead as we move the partnership into a new place where localism thrives & new ideas are reflected across this prosperous & successful part of England.It seems that London, the South East & the East will morph their RIEP's into a fit for the future state & develop their organisations within a new localism framework.Met a new agency today called Blue Marble who are working with the Director of Improvement East, Cecilia Tredget, apparently the people behind Blue Marble are ex Capita & seem jolly professional!Interesting times ahead for Improvement |East as a genuine provider & promoter of social enterprise.
