The expanded legal inquiry into Suffolk CC's chief executive, Andrea Hill, will scrutinise her relationship with a major contractor – and could demand explanations for expenses claims relating to weekend activities.
The MJ understands lawyers from Wragge and Co will look into Ms Hill's interaction with support services contractor, BT, while they complete inquiries into existing allegations of staff bullying within Suffolk's County Hall. Ms Hill will remain on extended leave while the investigation takes place.
