St Helens MBC has set up a special workshop to help local clubs bid for a share of a £50m fund designed to boost national participation in sport.
The Inspired Facilities Fund aims to encourage community sports and help local groups invest in improved sports centres, changing rooms and floodlight systems, as part of the countdown to the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
