Nottinghamshire CC has renegotiated its insurance policies in a bid to save £650,000 over the next five years and provide the local authority with better cover.

Of the seven policy lots available, four have been awarded to Zurich Municipal, and the other three were awarded to Allianz, Ace and Chubb, respectively.
