Salary: £45k - £55 plus benefits Contract: Maternity Cover: mid-October 2014 to mid-June 2015 Start Date: Mid-October Application deadline: Midnight 7 September Interviews: 11 September We are looking for an experienced professional to provide support to the senior team.We are seeking an experienced professional with a passion for cities and economic development who is interested in working at an independent, high profile think tank in a senior management role in the run-up to the General Election. While the Chief Executive is away on maternity leave, we're looking for someone who can provide support to the senior team to help keep the Centre running smoothly. In particular, we're looking for someone with senior management experience who can combine high quality writing and editing, good communication skills, an eye for detail and a willingness to 'pitch in' with everything from fundraising to events, as well as having strong organisational and programme management skills. Experience of working in a research-based organisation is desirable but not essential. The job will start in mid-October and run until mid-June, although there may be scope for extension.
