Belfast played host to a key regional gathering of European local government leaders drawn from more than 20 countries this week.

Held on 15-16 April, the Council of European Municipalities and Regions event, co-ordinated by Belfast City Council and the Northern Ireland Local Government Association, tackled key issues including capital investment, funding and community development.
