~Westminster City Council~ has dismissed an officer and set up a committee to monitor the corporate property department, following the investigation by PricewaterhouseCoopers into financial irregularities at the town hall (The MJ, 6 April). The officer was dismissed after the interim report was published and measures are also being taken against a second officer.
