Islington LBC is planning to build on the success of a popular shared-ownership scheme which gives residents the chance to get on the housing ladder and raises funds for badly-needed, affordable, family-sized council homes.
The council raised £832,250 from the sale of 10 studio and one-bedroomed council properties, which were surplus to requirements because of their size and amenities.
