Rochdale MBC has appointed Tameside MBC director, Jim Taylor, as its new chief executive.

Rochdale MBC has appointed Tameside MBC director, Jim Taylor, as its new chief executive.

Mr Taylor replaces Roger Ellis, who retired from the role last month. The new senior manager joined Tameside in 2004, as assistant executive director for education, and became executive director for children, learning and economic services in 2008.
