Sunderland City Council has arranged for 800 long-term unemployed and young people seeking their first job to be guaranteed job interviews at a new Tesco store in the city.
Opening in June this year, the supermarket has120 vacancies available and the council are running eight sessions this week to prepare the job seekers for the interviews.
