Job-seekers look set to gain from the first family council homes to be built in Manchester in more than 20 years.

As work for Manchester City Council started on building 171 new council homes in West Gorton, Bramall Construction and GB Solutions announced they would create at least 15 site-based apprenticeships and training opportunities.
