Cornwall CC and Cory Environmental have apologised to residents after problems with their joint rubbish and recycling collection service in parts of the county.
Said portfolio holder, Cllr Julian German: ‘While we had anticipated there would be some initial teething problems, it is clear that implementation of the new contract in some parts of Cornwall has not been satisfactory, and we are taking this up with the contractor so problems are resolved quickly.
