The Centre for Justice (CfJ) is offering local authorities the chance to cut costs and save time by avoiding lengthy legal disputes.

The Centre for Justice (CfJ) is offering local authorities the chance to cut costs and save time by avoiding lengthy legal disputes.

The not-for-profit arbitration service is writing to council leaders and chief executives, drawing attention to its recent success in helping resolve local disputes and secure major savings. At Havering LBC, the CfJ has helped the council save around £240,000 by settling three separate cases through mediation within just two months of it being appointed to help resolve issues.
