London mayor Ken Livingstone has rejected plans by Hammersmith & Fulham LBC to cut the number of low-rent housing association homes in a new development. The mayor rejected a planning application from the Genesis Housing Group, which had been referred to him by the council, because he said the local authority had cut the number of affordable rented homes.
