London Councils has accused Ken Livingstone of misleading the capital over the need for a single waste authority. The mayor has been campaigning for a single waste authority and has accused London Councils of ‘fiddling while waste burns'. But London Councils' transport and environment committee chairman, Cllr Daniel Moylan, said: ‘Nobody has a magic formula to meet the challenges.'
