Mayor of London and chair of London Skills and Employment Board, Ken Livingstone, has launched a public consultation on new, capital-wide targets to boost employment levels, increase the number of people with qualifications, and ensure more people are in training by 2013. The consultation on the draft strategy set out by the Learning and Skills Board, which has an annual budget of £560m, will end on 31 January.
