Kent CC has welcomed the opening of Ebbsfleet International railway station as a great boost for the county's economy. The station hosts seven trains each day to and from Paris, five each way to Brussels, and fast journey times to London. ‘It will create a lot of job opportunities, promote interest in Kent as a tourist destination, strengthen rail connections to London and the regions, and help attract more businesses relocating to Kent,' said cabinet member for regeneration, Cllr Roger Gough.
