Local Government Association chief Joanna Killian has taken ‘unexpected leave' amid the ongoing staff restructure, The MJ understands.

In a statement, the association said: ‘Our chief executive, Joanna Killian, has had to take unexpected leave for personal reasons. During this time, arrangements are in place to ensure continuity of leadership and the effective operation of the organisation.
